Day 2 Game Highlights

With clear skies and plenty of sunshine on Sunday made it great day for baseball at the Little League Baseball State Tournament in Lexington.
8-10 Year Olds
North Oldham 16 - Paintsville 6
North Oldham started the day with a 16-6 win over Paintsville. For North Oldham, Evan Fisher had two doubles and two Rbi’s. Levi Moore added a double. Kairo Ball had a single and 3 Rbi’s. Liam Williams(2), Nick Pedigo, Luke Jacobson, Lee Williams and Ben Bush(2) had base hits. Seth Roberts was the winning pitcher going three innings on the hill. For Paintsville, Jude Caldwell, Madden Fannin, Luke Stratton and Elliott Reed had base hits.
Daviess County 11 - Morehead 0
Daviess County put ten runs on the board in the first inning as they defeated Morehead 11-0. For Daviess County, Luke Abbott had a triple and two Rbi’s. Justin Maxey(2), Jake Watkins and Bryer Stoner had base hits. Pitchers Luke Abbott and Collin Swope combined on the shutout. For Morehead, Barrett Vance had a double. Eaton Charles and Cole Stiltner had base hits.
North Laurel 7 - Eastern 6
North Laurel held off a late rally by Eastern to win 7-6. For North Laurel, Gabe Gilliam had a double. Enrique Campos, Lake Woodyard, Hunter Warren, Mason Woods and Tucker Parman(2) had base hits. Mason Woods was the winning pitcher. For Eastern, Aubrey Noloney(2), Luke Nader, Conway Bentz, Owen Stephan, Mason Martinkovic and Grayson Krift had base hits.
Bluegrass 13 - Washington County 6
A eight run third inning propelled Bluegrass to a 13-6 win over Washington County. For Bluegrass, Axle Anker had a double. Kohen Lear(2), Liam Campbell, Jose Hernandez and Owen Blackburn had singles. Kohen Lear picked up the win on the hill with five innings of work and allowing 1 earned run and five strikeouts. For Washington County, Kayson Mattingly, Owen McCain, Noah Holmes, Ty Coulter(2), Ashton Christerson and Ki Keene had base hits.

9-11 YEAR OLDS
Fleming County 8 - Bluegrass 2
Fleming County started the day with a four run third inning as they defeated Bluegrass 8-2. For Fleming County, Hunter Moore had a double and two singles. Max Fritz added a double. Brady Jones, Tanner Story, Brettley Fletcher and Noah Rudd had base hits. Hunter Moore pitched a complete game in getting the win. For Bluegrass, Ro Salvador-Marrero, Will Cropper, Will Wimpy, Parker Orso, Trey Yaden, Aubrey Jackson and Niall Asher had singles,
Eastern 15 - Adair County 13
Eastern scored four times in the top of the sixth inning to beat Adair County 15-13. For Eastern, Cash Johnson had a triple.Tanner Smith had a double and a single, Maxwell Fletcher added a double. .Anthony Bruggeman(3), Kingston Hudspeth(2), Harbour McCauley, Banks Wilkinson, Graham Duncan, Tanner Smith(2), Owen Dineed and Hank Watts ad base hits. For Adair County, Lundon Moore had a double and a single. Hunter Ballou, Bentley Perry, Beau Melton, Jarred Hughes Hayden Ford and Kaden Jackson had base hits.
Bowling Green East 6 - Paintsville 2
Bowling Green East picked up their second win of the tournament as they defeated Paintsville 6-2. For Bowling Green East, Dylan White, Wyatt Scott, Pipes Gaines, Chase Martinand Brady Boyd had base hits. Pitchers Dylan White, Pipes Gaines and Wyatt Scott combined allowing two runs and three hits. For Paintsville, Cameron Blair and Mason Gibson ad base hits. Carson Music added a double and a Rbi.
North Oldham 10 - Corbin 0
In the night cap North Oldham blanked Corbin 10-0. For North Oldham, Nathan Hoffman had a triple. Dawson Burckardt, Nolan Stethen, Aiden Riley and Brady Noe had base hits. Pitchers Nathan Hoffman, Max West and Brady Bottorff combined on the no hitter with six strikeouts.

12 Year Olds
Warren County South 11 - Bluegrass 1
Warren County South picked up their second win as they beat Bluegrass 11-1. For Warren County South, Max Lobb and Will Roberts had homeruns. Wyatt Watson had a double and a single. Jaxon Griffin had a base hit. Thomas Fentress was the winning pitcher with two innings of work. For Bluegrass, Hayden Ward and Diego Vaquera had base hits.
North Oldham 7 - Fleming County 2
A five run fourth inning helped North Oldham beat Fleming County 7-2. For North Oldham, Cayenne Rankin had a double. Jacob Roberts had a two-run single. Keaton Neuner(2), Billy Keck(2), Colton Collins(2), Landen Nelson and Liam Videll had base hits. LT Fleischer was the winning pitcher, Braxton Taylor pitched three plus scoreless innings. Landen Nelson threw out a runner at home plate from rightfield. For Fleming County, Camden Price(2), Talon Earlywine, Braydon Overley, Braydon Adams(2) and Landon White had base hits.
Eastern 6 - North Laurel 2
After being down 2-0 in the first inning Eastern cam back and defeated North Laurel 6-2. For Eastern, Eli Scott had a homerun. Rhodes McCulloug, Max Schlarman(2), Henry Warner(2), Benjamin Warner and Jake Bowles had base hits. Sammy Giles added a double. Carter Mack pitched three scoreless innings for the win. For North Laurel, Jaxon Asher had a double. Kolton Hampton(2), Kryan Barnes, Tucker Boroviak, Noah Woods and Bryson Roberts had base hits.
Washington County 11 - South Central Floyd 1
Washington County jumped out with five runs in the first inning and never looked back to beat South Central Floyd 11-1. For Washington County, Pitchers Weston Mattingly and Bairon Saucedo combined allowing 4 hits and 1 run. Weston Matttingly, Nash Yates, Lathan Dominguez had doubles. Caleb Gabart and Bairon Saucedo ad base hits. For South Central Floyd, Parker Newsome had a double. Colt West, Drake Tackett and BJ Gibson had base hits.
