Day 3 Game Highlights

On Monday most of the rain stayed away late as we completed day 3 of the Little League Baseball State Tournament in Lexington. Winners and Runner-Ups were decided for the Semi-Finals that will be played on Tuesday.
10 Year Olds
Daviess County 12 - Paintsville 1
Daviess County finish pool play with a 12-1 win over Paintsville to win Pool A. For Daviess County, Carson Abby had a double and two rbi’s. Justin Maxey and Bryer Stone((2) had base hits. Jaxen Bickett picked up the win. For Paintsville, Madden Fannin, Will Castle and Braylen Hammond each had a base hit.
Morehead 12 - North Oldham 9
Morehead put runs on the board in the first five innings as they defeated North Oldham 12-9 to clinch the Runner-Up spot in Pool A. For Morehead, Sawyer Stevens had a double, a single and 3 Rbi’s. Cole Stiltner added a double and a single. Case Triplett(2), Landon Thomas, Easton Charles(2), Ashton Fay and Zander Bailey had singles. Tucker Brockman pitched 4 innings allowing 2 earned runs, having 6 strikeouts in getting the win. For North Oldham, Evan Fisher, Levi Moore and Bodee Blevins had doubles. Nick Pedigo added a triple. Seth Roberts(2), Liam William, Lee Williams and Ben Bush had base hits.
Eastern 13 - Washington County 2
Eastern had a six run third inning to seal a 13-2 win over Washington County. For Eastern, Hudson Lilly and Luke Nader had doubles. Cash Pogrotsky, Grayson Krift, Mason Martinkovic and Banks Denton had base hits. Pitcher Cash Progrotsky was the winning pitcher allowing two runs and two hits. For Washington County, Kayson Mattingly had a single, Noah Holmes added a double.
North Laurel 13 - Bluegrass 3
North Laurel jumped out to an early 5-0 lead and never looked back as they defeated Bluegrass 13-3 to clinch Pool B. For North Laurel, Easton Allen(2), Lake Woodyard(2), Hunter Warren, Cooper Whitis, Mason Woods, Gabe Gilliam, Tucker Parman(2), Landon Bales(2) and Weston Reid had base hits. Easton Allen pitched three innings in getting te win. For Bluegrass, Landon Cairell, Benjamin Lucas, Liam Campbell and Keaton Weigle had base hits.

9-11 Year Old
Adair County 15 - Bluegrass 0
Adair County pitchers Bentley Petty and Jared Hughes combined to shutout Bluegrass 15-0. For Adair County, Bentley Petty(2), Lundon Moore(2), Beau Melton, Hayden Ford, James Feese, Kaden Jackson, Fischer Brown and Hunter Ballou ad base hits. For Bluegrass, Parker Orso had their only hit.
Eastern 10 - Fleming County 0
Eastern secure the top seed in Pool A shutting out Fleming County 10-0. For Eastern, Kingston Hudspeth(2), Harbour McCauley, Tyler Davies, Graham Duncan, Tanner Smith and Owen Dineed had base hits. Kingston Hudspeth was the winning pitcher allowing one hit over three innings. For Fleming County, Jackson Teegarden had a base hit.
Paintsville 12 - Corbin 2
Paintsville picked up their first win as they defeated Corbin 12-2. For Paintsville, Cameron Blair, Mason Gibson, Landon Farler, Jayden Dials(2), Carson Music and Brody Porter had base hits. Mason Gibson was the winning pitcher allowing three hits and two runs in getting the win. For Corbin, Cole Moore had a double. Gaitlin Godsey and Jett Hendrickson had base hits.

Bowling Green East 9 - North Oldham 6
Bowling Green East clinched the top seed in Pool B with a 9-6 win over North Oldham. For Bowling Green East, Trace Wilkins had a double. Brannon Davis(2), Montana Reynolds, Jake Young, Wyatt Scott, Asa Buchanan, Pipes Gaines, Caleb Harbin, Brady Boyd and Captain Carr(2) had base hits. For North Oldham, Casey Mais had a two run double. Max West added a triple. Jackson Edgar had three hits and a Rbi. Nolan Stethen(2), Aiden Riley, Nathan Hoffman and Dawson Burckardt had base hits.

12 Year Olds
Warren County South 8 - Fleming County 3
Warren County South secured the top seed in pool A as they defeated Fleming County 8-3. For Warren County South, Easton Shank hit a two run homerun in te first inning. Max Lobb had two doubles and a single. Jaxon Griffin had a double and a single. Caiden Goss added double. Thomas Fentress, Nate Oliver(2) and Gavin Oller had base hits. For Fleming County, Camden Price and Easton Adams had base hits.
North Oldham 14 - Bluegrass 11
North Oldham held off a late rally by Bluegrass to win 14-11 and secured runner-up in Pool A. For North Oldham, Michael O’Dwyer(3), Billy Keck, Cayenne Rankin, Landen Nelson, and LJ Warner had base hits. Jacob Roberts pitched four innings in getting the win. For Bluegrass, Hayden Ward had a double and a single. Bryce Johnson and Jaydon Patterson had doubles. Matthew Smith(2), Micah Hughes, Hagan Buckingham, Nolan Lowe, and Tucker Oakley, Thomas Zakowski and Bentley Adams(2) had base hits.
Eastern 7 - South Central Floyd 1
Eastern secured the top seed in Pool B defeating South Central Floyd 7-1. For Eastern, Pitcher Sammy Giles pitched 6 innings allowing one run, four hits and had 12 strikeouts. John Cooper Sawyer had a homerun. Eli Scott, Henry Warner, Brady Nahra, Jack Clickner, Benjamin Warner and Carter Mack(2) had base hits.
Washington County 12 - North Laurel 8
Washington County defeated North Laurel 12-8 to claim the runner-up spot in Pool B, For Washington County, Lathan Dominguez and Bairon Saucedo had homeruns. Weston Mattingly had a triple and a single. Drew Coulter added a double. Nash Yates, Anderson Saucedo, Patrick McClain, Caleb Gabhart and Samuel Butler had base hits, For North Laurel, Kryan Barnes had a double. Marshall Mastin, Mason Minor, Bryson Roberts and RJ Cooper ad base hits.
